Scam Warning

Warning from BBC Radio,

Whatapp users please be aware of three scams :-

  1. a video called Martineli - do not open as it will hack your phone and nothing can fix it.

  2. a message inviting you to update your Whatsapp to Whatsapp Gold - do not do it from this message.

  3. a video called Dance of the Pope - do not open -it formats your mobile.

    In all cases be aware of the risk of opening links, photos or apps in any messages from sources you cannot be absolutely sure of (including friends and family if it seems out of character, unexpected or supicious in any way - ask them if they sent it before opening because they may have been hacked)
